When it comes to racing, woman have a tendency to be overlooked and/or under credited. Because of that fact, Female Racing News was created. However, every once in a while a female driver will force you to notice her. Beth Chryst is one of those drivers. She pilots the #2 car in the Playboy MX-5 Cup Series and has made quite a name for herself. We were introduced to Beth via the FRN site and learned that she was gaining quite a bit of attention from sponsors and fans, yet, didn’t have anything material wise to show them. Not so much as a hero card. Well, we can’t have THAT now can we 🙂

Our timeline for this hero card was very short. But we were able to bang out a piece that looks good, is functional (white space at the top for Beth’s autograph) and most importantly, Beth loves them.

In addition to all that, Beth completely flattered us by displaying the Studio Rhoad logo on the hood of her MX-5 while at Road America. To this day, I still get “chills of awesome” when I see the Studio Rhoad logo on someone else’s racecar. So hat-tip to Beth! We wish you the best of luck this season.
